We highly advise that you schedule a 30 to 60 day aerobic exercise program including bicycling, stair climbing or any "step" and flexibility exercises.

Also, schedule 3-5 horseback rides prior to arrival to prepare you for long days in the saddle. The better prepared you are, the more comfortable you will be and the more fun you can have. Our experience has taught us that the more territory we cover each day, the more elk we will see. Therefore, the more mobile you are, the better your chances of finding that trophy.
