We have hunted in conditions varying from dry, sunny, 60-degrees days
to "socked in" days with temperatures in the single digits and
a couple of feet of snow. We design each day's hunt to take best advantage
of the conditions. In the mountains, these conditions can change drastically
in just a few hours. Usually the days are around 45 to 50 degrees and
the nights range around 10 degrees. However, it's best to be prepared
to handle temperatures as low as 15 in the day and 0 at night. A prepared
hunter is a happy hunter.
